Berkeley County, West Virginia, Tractor Trailer Crash

A Berkeley County man died on July 27, 2017 as a result of injuries he sustained following a tractor trailer crash on Interstate 81 just south of Martinsburg, WV.  The tractor trailer struck the car after traveling across the grass median of the highway from the northbound lanes.  The truck ended up in a ditch on the side of the road.  The victim was entrapped in the car and was extricated from the vehicle and flown to a Virginia hospital and was pronounced dead there.
